As an economics graduate, you can apply for our taxation stream, where you'll engage in meaningful work that delivers positive outcomes for the Australian community. You'll analyse both Australian and global economies, as well as taxpaying populations, providing crucial insights. Your efforts will help to understand economic trends and taxpayer behaviour, ultimately supporting informed decision-making and effective policy development.

You could: 

  • assist in the collection and interpretation of data from a variety of sources including financial statements and economic data
  • undertake a range of analytical, procedural, operational, and administrative activities and apply commonly used financial, econometric, or economic analysis techniques
  • assist with economic research and analysis across various markets and topics to help provide a better understanding of taxpayer behaviour and environment.

Who can apply

You can apply for our graduate program if you are an Australian citizen and either:

  • completed your university degree within the last 5 years (1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025)
  • are in your final year of study.
