Bring your best to BDO in 2026 with our BDO Graduate Opportunities

BE YOU, BE YOUR BEST, BDO. TŪ TANGATA AI KI BDO
BDO is a world-leading professional services firm – but we’re also a family. We understand that providing our clients with exceptional service across Business Advisory, Tax, and Audit begins – and ends – with exceptional regard for our people.

BE BACKED TO REALISE YOUR GOALS AND GROW – RIGHT FROM THE START
We know you want to grow professionally and personally. We offer a tailored learning and development program that enables you to thrive as an individual. When you join our BDO whānau, you’ll gain access to a variety of opportunities.

From building relationships with your team members to industry leaders and clients from a range of business sectors and services across NZ, you’ll make endless connections that will stay with you for the rest of your professional career.

BE PART OF A SUPPORTIVE BDO WHĀNAU
Your working environment is important, and we strive to create a fun, relaxed and inclusive team that offers ample opportunities for socialising and collaboration. You’ll have the opportunity to join our sports teams and take part in our Social Club events that enable you to get to know your team outside of the office as well as division-focused events that strengthen your sense of community within the firm.

Our Wellington BDO office is locally owned, nationally connected, and internationally linked. This means our people get all the benefits of working for a leading edge global professional services firm, whilst experiencing a business model that’s locally focused and enables your individuality to thrive. BDO Wellington office is in the heart of the city, giving you access to some of the best spots Wellington has to offer.

BE YOURSELF
We want to get to know you beyond your qualifications and grades! What you value outside of your studies, the experiences you have had and what motivates you is just as important. At BDO Wellington you can show up every day just as you are and be appreciated and supported. What makes you, you is key to your success and in turn is key to our clients’ success.

BE FLEXIBLE
We understand that life happens outside of work and sometimes your schedule needs to shift. We offer flexible working arrangements to ensure you stay connected to your team and committed to your clients while also managing your personal responsibilities.

Our Flexible working policy allows you to work your core hours between 10am – 3pm. Where you choose to work the remainder of your hours is up to you. We also don’t believe in working more than a 37.5-hour week. However, if you are ever required to work more than these hours then BDO Wellington will pay you for any overtime hours.

If this sounds like the type of workplace you want to be part of then we want to hear from you! As this is a graduate level position, we are looking for people who are studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance or a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

We have opportunities available in our Audit and Assurance Services, Taxation Services and Business Advisory Services teams. It’s OK if you’re not sure what service line you are most interested in just yet, once you have met with us and found out a bit more about the different areas in the business, you will be able to make an informed decision.

We’d love to learn more about you, so apply now by submitting your CV, Academic Transcript and a Cover Letter.

We look forward to seeing how BDO can enable you to BE YOU. BE YOUR BEST in 2026!
