Your role

Challenge yourself and find the career path in Marketing that you’re passionate about! Identify business issues and collaborate with intern cohorts and Cisco leadership to create a project plan. Partner with an experienced mentor. Interface with Cisco Marketing leaders and work in areas such as brand, product, communications, public relations, social media, operations and/or market research. Learn the foundations of marketing and use those skills to help jump-start your career.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business/International  Business or a related area 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English 
  • Team-oriented, have strong communication and influencing skills 
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing – internship, coursework or work experience 
  • Have a passion for digital, content and communications
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize under deadlines 
  • Leadership, interpersonal skills, creative thinking and problem solver 
  • Must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident

As a grad on the role you'll be taking ownership of your own patch, working with clients to identify their business goals, challenges, objectives, priorities and challenges as well as understanding how technology plays a role in enabling these visions and strategies. You will be enabled to speak about technology and trends like IoT/IoE, digitization and Cloud, and be a thought leader to take these companies on a journey to be leaders in their industry. On a day-to-day you'll be speaking to your customers, presenting and dealing with any issues via our collaboration technologies like voice, video etc. and bringing relevant stakeholders into the right discussions. There are many roles that you can move into once you're off the graduate program whether Account Management, Systems Engineer, working in the Commercial/Enterprise/Public Sector patches, working in Architectures like Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Data Centre, Security, Cloud, Innovations, Services, Marketing, Finance, Legal etc.
