How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Very flexible with our hours.

Its alright, I spend more time in the office than I would like, and seemingly many more than my peers in different professions. But it is manageable and when everyone else does it too it makes it easier.

Deloitte is very open to flexible working, there have been times where I've asked to work from home and it was approved within a moments notice. The team is very empathetic and understands that people have other commitments outside of work, which are respected and actually given support for.

Somewhat. Good and getting better.

Most people work overtime every week. There is a flexible working policy in place, so if you would like to have arrangements made, it needs to be in writing. If you have an appointment, generally this is accepted and you must communicate in advance. In terms of working from home, managers prefer that graduates work onsite. Working onsite with the team makes it easier to communicate and there are more learning opportunities when you are onsite.

The company is relatively flexible as to when you work your hours, as long as you complete your work on time

My contract says I work 37.5 hours per week and I do generally work about that. Sometimes it might be a max of 40 hours per week so it's ok! As long as you complete your 37.5 hours per week, they are generally pretty flexible- i.e. if you have an appointment you can make the time up another way.

Cannot speak for the company, but in my team I work quite long hours. most days of the week are 10-12 hour days.

I work around 8.45am-5pm. They are pretty flexible as long as you do the mahi and get your work done. Sometimes I work longer hours if I need to get a few more things done or I know I want to clock out early on some days for certain things. As long as your project team and manager know and are happy with it, then you're all good.

I have been working 40 hours weeks when I am paid for 37.5. But it rarely is more than 40.

They are flexible but it is a personal preference, to get my work done you have to put in the extra hours

Good work life balance in my team.

My work is flexible with hours which is a good factor of the job. As long as we meet the minimum hours its not too much of a concern to if we will be late.
