We are looking for our next generation of Agronomists to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

We are seeking graduates wanting to pursue a career in agronomy to take part in a two-year tailored program designed to provide you with the opportunity to learn through working in the field with our experts. The program offers the opportunity to work in multiple locations, gain exposure and increase your knowledge in various cropping segments across Australia. You will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of projects, products and technology and create a positive social impact in the communities in which we operate.

You will be supported by our experienced agronomists and technical leaders to develop the skills to provide growers with the latest in agricultural technology through a diverse range of crop protection products, seed, fertiliser and plant nutrition services through the provision of cutting-edge agronomic advice.

Learning opportunities

  • Attend and assist in the running of field days and farmer meetings, field demonstrations and trials with key suppliers
  • Work with experienced agronomists providing on-farm support and consultation as well as developing and implementing farm management and client management plans
  • Spend time in our iconic branches understanding our full range of products and working shoulder to shoulder with our rural products sales teams.
  • Build business-critical skills in sales and marketing, communication and decision making, financial budgeting, product forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Participate in dedicated training with your graduate cohort.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or related business discipline (essential)
  • Confident, self-starter, with a passion for agricultural production and rural communities
  • A willingness to roll up the sleeves of your iconic pink shirt to learn and be hands-on
  • Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to relocate to various locations during the program
