Graduate Customer Compliance Specialists

You will be part of a Graduate team operating from the Auckland and Wellington offices.

We are looking for graduates who, along with strong academic backgrounds and other complementary skills, can bring diverse perspectives to Inland Revenue. The ideal candidate will have the ability to solve problems by thinking critically and conceptually, engage well with stakeholders, work collaboratively in teams, and communicate complex ideas effectively.
Using your accounting or commerce related qualification and with support, you will provide tax and social policy technical support and advice to improve customer experience and long-term compliance, and champion IR’s customer-centric and intelligence-led culture.

Inland Revenue plays a critical role in improving the economic and social wellbeing of New Zealanders. We do this by collecting and distributing money, we collect 80% of the Crown’s revenue and distribute social support payments.
Customer Compliance Services, Business (CCS–B) and Individuals (CCS-I) help businesses to pay the right amount of tax at the right time, from customers of Micro Business and Not-for-Profits, Small to Medium Enterprises and Significant Enterprises.
Our people make tax compliance simpler by giving support and providing confident, accurate advice around complex and global tax issues. We work with a range of other agencies within New Zealand and internationally to provide connected services and reduce costs to customers and the government.
