Our Business Applications - Finance & Operations team utilises the latest Microsoft technologies to provide tangible benefits and competitive advantage for our customers. The Role
The Consultants role is to provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of Intergen's clients. This involves understanding the client's organisation and enhancing their business through recommending better or more appropriate policies, processes, architectures and technologies.
As a Graduate Consultant you will work within a team and under specific mentorship from a Senior or Lead Consultant. You will gain practical experience through different areas of the delivery lifecycle as you are assigned basic project tasks to complete.

Reviews
Look after various support cases logged by our Finance and HR clients. Investigate issues, Gather requirements, write documentation or test changes/modifications for clients.
I work part-time contracted to another agency where I support with their BAU tasks. Otherwise I support on small-medium sized projects, learning as I go.
Depends on the day but usually starts with a stand-up with the team from my project (who are all in Auckland) where we chat about what we worked on the day before and what our plan is for the day. Then I continue on development tasks for the rest of the day unless there are any more meetings.

Due to the industry, the wavering of work can be frustrating. It's difficult to fill in your time when there is nothing for you to do. The only solution ever provided is MS exams
