What you will do? | Responsibilities

  • You will play the role of an internal consultant, working with businesses to use data to drive their decision making across procurement, network optimization, logistics, demand planning, pricing and customer experience.
  • You will work with our internal business teams, business finance & planning teams, strategy teams, and other functions to define the right metrics to track and drive insights from those to take the correct decisions.  
  • You'll be a go-to expert for tackling data related contexts ranging across addressing small to large data sets, structured/unstructured or streaming data, identifying the right tools, writing SQL/Python scripts to inculcate data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • In this role, you will conduct deep analytics on 1st party & 3rd party data, playing a significant role in team problem solving through the findings and insights from analysis.
  • You will advance Ninjacart’s overall knowledge base by providing analytical rigour and problem solving to our various business investments.
  • You will also focus on developing new analytical approaches and techniques.
  • You will operate as part of a wider firm community, supporting the development of both the analytical group as well as a greater understanding of analytics and results across the rest of the organization.
  • You will collaborate with team members, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate understanding of the project, produce an efficient and effective solution consistently at or ahead of the established deadline.
  • You will develop and maintain strong relationships with team and business partners by demonstrating effective interpersonal skills.

Who will you work with?

You will be based in Bangalore and will be an integral part of our Analytics function. This group is responsible for developing and delivering all analytics solutions for the firm’s internal use. As part of this group, you will work on transforming our business with the application of your business analysis skills.

What you will need to have | Requirements

  • Full-time advanced degree from an accredited college/university in a business-related or quantitative discipline
  • 2+ years of experience with experience in business analysis/statistics roles.
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL and Python or R programming
  • Ability to manage and query large databases, perform data integration, manipulation, and querying, and provide data mining and analytical support
  • Track record of strong problem-solving, requirement gathering and recommending solutions
  • Driven by numerical or statistical approaches
  • Collaborative - able to build strong relations that enable robust debate and survive periodic disagreements regarding priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a technical and non-technical audience
  • Ability to work on more than one project at a time
