What you will do? | Responsibilities
- You will be a hands-on technologist who connects and models complex distributed data sets to build repositories, such as data warehouses, data lakes, using appropriate technologies.
- You will work with other experts, such as Data Scientists and Analysts to design and build cutting edge (big) data solutions.
- You'll be a go-to expert for tackling data related contexts ranging across addressing small to large data sets, structured/unstructured or streaming data, extraction, transformation, curation, modelling, building data pipelines, identifying right tools, writing SQL/Java/Scala code, etc.
- You'll take a cloud-first approach in transforming our data platforms and analytical applications across our firm.
- In this role you will participate in solution design, providing oversight and guidance related to data design and usage.
- You will establish data architecture strategy, best practices, standards, and roadmaps. You will ensure adherence to data standards and best practices through the establishment of governance processes.
- You will collaborate with team members, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate understanding of the project, produce an efficient and effective solution consistently at or ahead of the established deadline.
Who will you work with?
You will be based in Bangalore and will be an integral part of our Analytics function. This group is responsible for developing and delivering all analytics solutions for the firm’s internal use. As part of this group, you will work on transforming our data platforms and analytical applications across the firm.

What you will need to have | Requirements
- Full-time degree from an accredited college/university in a business-related or technology-related field.
- 2+ years of IT experience with experience in data management
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases/warehouses, including MySQL, MongoDB, and Snowflake.
- Experience in working with large-scale cloud, big data or analytics implementations in complex usage scenarios and migration paths
- Experience in all facets of software development life cycle like analysis, design, development, data conversion, data security, system integration and implementation.
- Experience working on enterprise-grade data and analytics platforms that are highly scalable, compliant and secure with robust data quality, data governance, data discovery, catalogue and visualization capabilities.
- Collaborative - able to build strong relations that enable robust debate and survive periodic disagreements regarding priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a technical and non-technical audience
- Industry recognized cloud certifications, patents, open-source contributions are preferred
