Roles and Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining the brand community of startup founders 
• Engaging audiences on one or more platforms like Slack, in-person messages, Discord, etc. 
• Constantly experiment and think of ideas to keep the community engaged
• Create and execute the content plans on a monthly basis  
• Host Live sessions for the community members with in-house and other industry experts  
• Work with cross-functional teams to get more content and engagement ideas
• Measure the right analytics to ensure community success  
• Write and/or edit, and publish blogs, eBooks, and other resources for the community platform

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Experience in writing long-form and short-form content
• Basic understanding of how platforms like Slack, Discord, WhatsApp can work with regard to building communities
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to work autonomously
• Great time management skills and an ability to work toward deadlines
• Ability to work with multiple teams and prioritize competing tasks
• Understanding of crisis management
• Ability to maintain a consistent tone and voice of the brand with the community
• Exposure to managing social media platforms is an added advantage
