Roles and Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining the brand community of startup founders
- Engaging audiences on one or more platforms like Slack, in-person messages, Discord, etc.
- Constantly experiment and think of ideas to keep the community engaged
- Create and execute the content plans on a monthly basis
- Host Live sessions for the community members with in-house and other industry experts
- Work with cross-functional teams to get more content and engagement ideas
- Measure the right analytics to ensure community success
- Write and/or edit, and publish blogs, eBooks, and other resources for the community platform
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience in writing long-form and short-form content
- Basic understanding of how platforms like Slack, Discord, WhatsApp can work with regard to building communities
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to work autonomously
- Great time management skills and an ability to work toward deadlines
- Ability to work with multiple teams and prioritize competing tasks
- Understanding of crisis management
- Ability to maintain a consistent tone and voice of the brand with the community
- Exposure to managing social media platforms is an added advantage
