Job Summary
The primary purpose of the job is to process requests accurately and in a timely manner and manage complex queries from global business partners and data analysts, in compliance with Controls and other approved documentations.
Dimensions
- Knowing multiple systems and tools across multiple countries, but spread over 2-3 processes
- In depth knowledge of Counterparty and location objects and its relevant business impact.
- Engagements with Stakeholders from organizations within and outside FO Data.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and process requests relating to Trading data object accurately (first-time-right) and in a timely manner according to committed timelines.
- Fully comply with controls, defined policies, operating procedures including archiving requirements, and work instructions.
- Responsible for addressing all queries related to requests and to coordinate with various focal and stakeholders for resolution as necessary. Regular interaction with business partners and stakeholders to discuss issues and blockers, and escalate as needed on a timely basis.
- Demonstrate process knowledge and excellence and act as technical lead when required
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the process. Play active role as a member in improvement projects and sometimes lead improvement projects.
- Provide inputs on a timely basis for the purpose of updating documentation on controls, work instructions, procedures, etc. Ensure compliance to record archival process.
- Support data cleansing activities as needed to support business projects and initiatives.
- Participate in BCP related activities
Key Challenges
- Complex process due to the number of business lines, number of systems involved and different processes across regions
- Frequent coordination with business and different Finance teams is required to maintain master data on time.
- Emerging projects are normally unplanned, requiring tough deadlines. These initiatives would be short but frequent and may come from various regions (Asia, Europe, Americas) thus flexibility in work schedule is expected.
- Trading and Supply is a very dynamic and demanding business where there are several changes happening at the same time and timeline is usually urgent.
Requirements
- Learner mindset. Self-starter and ability to manage diverse cultural/ethnic sensitivities. Ability to deal effectively with complexity and detail and demanding stakeholders. Ability to organize and prioritize work tasks and ensure delivery of priorities. Team player.
- Understanding of master data process and data quality
- Experience with SAP, DEX, Endur, Radar or other relevant T&S systems are definite advantages
- Significant experience in supporting Trading and Supply is an advantage
- University degree preferably Industrial Engineering and Finance-related courses
- CI and process excellence skills
- Knowledge of SOX and business controls
- Excellent in MS Office applications like MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power point, etc.
