Meet potential employers

Each autumn we bring employers to the University for our careers fair. Connect and speak with them about potential career options, internships and graduate recruitment opportunities.

Registrations open January 2024

Our Graduate Jobs and Internships Fair in Autumn features a wide range of employers from both the public and private sectors who are looking to recruit University of Sydney students into their graduate, internship and vacation work programs. This fair is open to Sydney University students in all years and degrees.

Who should attend

Penultimate and final-year students from all faculties are welcome to attend our career fairs.

We also encourage you to attend if you’re in the earlier years of your degree, as these fairs offer an excellent chance to chat with employers about the key skills required to work in your industry/organisation. Be prepared; start planning early.

Most organisations require applicants to hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency. For detailed information on eligibility, check the employers’ websites below, as well as the websites for any other prominent company operating in your field.

What to expect

You can connect with representatives of leading Australian and global companies from the public and private sectors. Discuss internship opportunities, graduate roles, application and interview procedures, and the type of candidates they are looking for.

How to prepare and stand out at the Fair

Preparing yourself is the best way to help you stand out from the competition at the Fair. Visit employer websites listed below to research what they do and the opportunities they are offering, identify organisations that interest you most and why, and prepare questions based on your research. Read 7 Ways to Impress at a Careers Fair and use our Elevator Pitch Builder to get prepared and make the most of the Virtual Fair.

Many of these employers conduct on-campus or online information sessions throughout the year. Monitor the events calendar on Sydney CareerHub for details.
