My most memorable moment so far is the company induction. All new starters go through a process in which they have a chance to meet and chat with our CEO as well as hear from all the executives about how passionate they are about what they do.

Kayla Gafa studied a Diploma Business Management at Torrens University and is now a National Account Executive at Diageo.

Everyone in the department brings their own skill sets and knowledge to the different teams.

I have recently been told that we are unsung superheroes who save lives by preventing diseases - I could not agree more! 

I'm so pleased I was successful - the culture at BDO is amazing and in my five months since starting I've felt so supported.

Within the program I was also able to work in many different levels of the organisation, with roles in client account teams, service delivery teams, as well as regional strategy and operations, and technology teams.

I think being a woman in a male-dominated arena is always a challenge – especially when it is largely relationship based and it at times feels like it will always be that way.
