Today I am meeting with people from the Join team who oversee the customers' experience when joining the app. We discuss what features are changing for the latest release and collate all the information into one place.
I start my workday by going through my emails, responding to queries and structuring my workflow. Once I’m in the zone I focus on my heavier tasks in the morning, working through tax returns, financial statements and detailed tax advice.
I’ve learnt so much since joining the ATO and am grateful to have the opportunity to work with a team that encouraged me to always be learning and trying new things.
Continue shadowing the Account Managers, assisting them on particular tasks that are within my ability level for the rest of the day, making sure to take notes and ask as many questions as possible.
Sanam Misthry graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland in 2018, and is now a Graduate Engineer at BHP’s Olympic Dam mine in the Underground Production Analysis and Improvement Team.
