AlburyCity’s Grow Our Own Program is a great success story and something we’re very proud of.
It was launched in 2006 and was designed to proactively to combat regional skills shortages in both vocational (trade) and professional areas. It has gone from strength to strength and now provides numerous opportunities for people to live and learn a trade or profession locally. It also exposes Graduates and trainees to the dynamic and diverse Local Government industry and provides our region with a qualified, talented and experienced pool of prospective employees ‘grown’ locally.
