LGBTQ+ at Sparke Helmore Lawyers

Our LGBTQ+ employee network, Sparkles, was formed to improve our understanding of, and awareness and engagement with, the LGBTQ+ community and allies and to consider how to best support this community and its allies. We regularly recognise and celebrate important days of significance such as International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) and Wear it Purple with education events and fundraising. For the past to years we have hosted Drag Bingo and Trivia fundraising events to raise important funds for rainbow youth charities. In 2022, we were also proud sponsors of the launch of PFLAG+ Australia who advocate and supporting rainbow families, particularly those in rural and remote areas through education.
